Week 8 is when dynasty trade talks get serious. Here is the board as of Oct 28, 2026: 29 buy-low flags, 33 sell-high flags, and what changed since Oct 20.

A buy-low is a player the dynasty draft market prices at least 35% under the expert consensus. A sell-high is the reverse: at least 35% over. Only players valued at 1,000 or more count. Values as of Oct 28, 2026.

How to read a flag

Experts is the DynastyProcess consensus. Draft market is Sleeper dynasty ADP on the same 0 to 10,000 scale. Gap is the market against the experts. Value is our blended number, and Since Oct 20 is how far it moved over the last eight days. Fantasy Football Calculator had no dynasty data, so the market column is Sleeper only. A flag is a reason to look, not a trade order. Weights are in how our values work.

5 of these eight are listed Questionable. A cheap market price on a banged-up player can just be the market pricing the tag, so split this list in two.

Healthy buys. Malik Nabers is the cleanest case. The experts have him at 7,939 and the market at 4,559, a 43% discount, and he is WR8 at age 23. He averages 17.2 PPR points a game this season and 25.2 over his last three. Ashton Jeanty is RB4 and #11 overall at 7,207, up 915 points since Oct 20, the most of these eight. James Cook III has the widest gap of the three healthy buys at 46%. He is RB5 at age 27 and averages 18.9 a game, 21.1 over his last three.

Buys with a tag. DeVonta Smith (WR18, 4,343) is a 55% buy at 17.3 PPG. Lamar Jackson is the quarterback case: 4,304 in 1QB but 7,898 in superflex, and his value is down 467 since Oct 20, the steepest drop of the eight. Jeremiyah Love carries the widest gap on the list at -93%, with the experts at 7,736 and the market at 566. He is a rookie at age 21 with 10.2 PPG. The listing doesn't say how long anyone sits, so check news before you offer.

Eight sell-high candidates

Chuba Hubbard (CAR)RB15 / 271,0646,547+515%3,647+524 (+16.8%)Active

Seven of the eight carry no injury tag; the exception is Christian McCaffrey, listed Questionable. These are not bad players. They are players the market loves more than the experts do.

The receiver price tag. Zay Flowers tops the list at 7,213. He scores 20.4 PPG, the experts say 5,213, and the market says 8,991. Tee Higgins is a smaller version: 17 PPG, 19.2 over his last three, 60% over the experts, and up 523 since Oct 20.

The back market. Chuba Hubbard has the widest gap of the eight at +515%: the experts value him at 1,064 and the market at 6,547, while he scores 18 PPG. Javonte Williams is second at +191% (2,606 experts, 7,574 market). Kyren Williams is +128%. Christian McCaffrey is 30. Selling here is a bet that the price falls back, not a claim that these backs stop scoring.

What changed since Oct 20

Our Oct 20 article listed 16 names. Of those, 14 still carry a flag today. Two lost theirs: George Pickens (4,587) and Christian Watson (5,080) now sit inside the 35% line.

The big story is Chase Brown. He was on the Oct 20 buy list at 3,396. Today he is 4,955, up 1,559 (the biggest rise of the 16), and the market now sits 44% over the experts, so he is a sell flag. If you bought, you won. The window has closed. At the other end, Derrick Henry fell 1,442 points, the largest drop of the 16, to 1,959, and he is still a sell flag with the market 55% above the experts. Of the 16, 10 are up and 6 are down.

Six trades that are fair on paper

Each pairs a sell-high with buy-low pieces and lands inside the calculator's fair range: within 5% after its depth discount (best piece at 100%, second at 75%).

4 of the six have a Questionable player on the receiving side, so check the tag first. "On paper" matters. Values don't know your roster, your scoring or whether the other manager agrees with the market. Test your own version in the dynasty trade analyzer.

A short Week 8 checklist

  1. Check the format. These are 1QB values. In superflex the quarterbacks jump: Caleb Williams is 2,752 in 1QB and 5,453 in superflex.
  2. Check the status column before you pay for a discount.
  3. Back the gap with production. Malik Nabers pairs a discount with 25.2 PPG over his last three. A discount on a player who isn't scoring needs a reason you can name.
  4. Mind the roster spot. A two-for-one that looks even costs you a bench slot.
  5. Re-check before your deadline. The buy-low and sell-high page refreshes every morning. This article is fixed at Oct 28, 2026.
