Questionable is a label. The projection is the number. Before you bench a starter, see what Week 9 projects for that player and who you can slot in at the same spot. All points are PPR, as of Nov 5, 2026.

Right now 56 players are listed Questionable, 1 Doubtful, 16 Out, 84 on IR, 4 PUP and 1 DNR. We use only that listed status plus the projection, the season average, the last-3 average and the Weeks 9-11 total. No timelines, no causes, no calls on who plays. The live injury report has the current tags.

\* Fewer than three weeks of projections exist for that player, so the sum covers fewer weeks, not a full three.

Christian McCaffrey owns the top Questionable projection at 22.7. The season average is 20.6 and the last-3 average is 23.3, so the projection sits above the season line and just under the recent one. Amon-Ra St. Brown follows at 20.3, above both the 20.1 season average and the 16.6 last-3 pace. 20 of the 56 Questionable players carry a projection of 10 or more.

Drew Lock shows 17.3 for Week 9 but nothing past it, which is why that sum carries a star. One Questionable player, Deshaun Watson, has no Week 9 projection at all. That is a missing number, not a zero.

Two names stand apart from their box scores. A.J. Brown is projected 13.2 against 6.4 per game this season, a gap of +6.8 and the widest among Questionable players with a projection. Bhayshul Tuten runs the other way: 14 projected after 22.1 per game over the last three games (-8.1). Treat both as projections, not promises.

Out, IR and PUP: what still shows

Not one of the 16 players listed Out has a Week 9 projection, and neither does the Doubtful player or the DNR player. On IR, 81 of 84 are blank, and 2 of 4 listed PUP are too. The five above are the exceptions, and none is projected above 7. Pat Bryant is the highest at 6.5. A projection beside an IR tag is a number in the data, not a sign of playing time. If your player is blank, you only have the averages.

Healthy fill-ins within 1.0 point

These are not replacements. They are players with no injury tag whose Week 9 projection sits within 1.0 point of the listed player's, at the same position. The last column is Sleeper adds in the past 24 hours, where any show.

Use last 3 as the tiebreaker. Between two players inside a point, the one with the higher recent average is the one scoring now. Then check the sum: it tells you who keeps a number past this week. For Christian McCaffrey, the closest fill-ins are Bijan Robinson at 23.2 and Kenneth Walker III at 22, against the 22.7 listed above.

Healthy adds that carry a projection

Adonai Mitchell leads with 693,408 adds in 24 hours and 3,465,400 in 72, yet that is the lowest projection of the five, at 8.4. Malik Willis has the highest, 17.8. Adds show where other managers are looking. They do not show who scores. The Week 9 start/sit page lists every projection by position.

Before kickoff

  1. Find every tagged player on your roster in the first two tables. The tag does not change the projection.
  2. Pick the healthy player closest to that number, then compare last 3 PPG and the sum.
  3. If your player has no projection, you are working from averages only.
  4. Put both lineups through the start/sit tool before the first game.
  5. Re-check the injury report before lineups lock. Status moves after Nov 5, 2026.

Frequently asked questions

Which Questionable players have the highest Week 9 projections?

As of Nov 5, 2026: Christian McCaffrey (22.7), Amon-Ra St. Brown (20.3), Drew Lock (17.3), Kyler Murray (17.2) and Mike Evans (16.6), all in PPR points.

Does a Questionable tag mean a player is out?

No. The tag is a status label, not a projection. In our data, 20 Questionable players carry a Week 9 projection of 10 or more points. Check the injury report before lineups lock.

Who is a healthy fill-in for Christian McCaffrey?

Bijan Robinson (23.2) and Kenneth Walker III (22) are within 1.0 point of the 22.7 projected for Christian McCaffrey and have no injury tag in our data.

Why does an Out or IR player show no projection?

Most do not have one. All 16 players listed Out and 81 of 84 listed IR have no Week 9 projection, so there is nothing to compare. The 5 exceptions are on IR or PUP and none is above 7.

Where do I check the latest status?

Check the injury report again right before lineups lock. Tags can change after Nov 5, 2026, so verify before kickoff.
