Running backs fall off at 27. Receivers hold a bit longer. Our tight end data shows the same line, and it sits right at 27. Values as of Oct 24, 2026.
Take the top 24 tight ends by value and group them by age. The 11 aged 25 and under average 2,271 points. The 3 aged 26 average 3,093. The 10 aged 27 and older average 1,036. The three 27-year-olds alone average 1,139, 63% below the 26-year-olds. No tight end in the top 24 is 28. The 29-and-older group (7 players) averages 992.
Be careful with the sample: each of those age groups is three players. The 26-year-olds are carried by Trey McBride and Isaiah Likely. The board points the same way: only two of the ten most valuable tight ends are 27 or older, George Kittle and Dalton Kincaid.
Values use a 0-10,000 scale. "Flag" is our buy/sell signal: how far the draft market sits from the experts. FFC had no dynasty data today, so the draft market is Sleeper only. Superflex values for the top ten tight ends run 73% to 79% of the 1QB value. Brock Bowers (age 23) is the only tight end above 5,000.
