The age gap at receiver is closing, but the veterans still cost more. Values as of Oct 30, 2026.

Of the top 24 receivers by value, 8 are 27 or older and 8 are 24 or younger. The veterans are worth 50,178 points combined, down 1,212 since Oct 23. The young group is worth 44,828, up 1,114. That cuts the older group's lead from 7,676 to 5,350, so the market still pays full price for 27-year-olds. The best receiver on the board, Jaxon Smith-Njigba, is 24 and sits at 10,068.

Below: the veterans to sell, the young receivers to buy, and five trades that land within 5% on our calculator rule. Every value is on a 0-10,000 scale. "Flag" is our buy/sell signal: how far the draft market sits from the experts. FFC had no dynasty data today, so the draft market here is Sleeper only.

CeeDee Lamb is the best veteran and the loudest sell. At 9,448 he is the most valuable receiver in the 27+ group, and he is up 941 (11.1%) since Oct 23, the biggest rise of the eight. He scores 22.2 per game but just 14.4 over his last three, the widest drop from season pace to recent pace in this group. A rising price on a falling box score is the setup you sell into.

Christian Watson is the opposite. He is down 1,425 (22.5%) to 4,904, the largest fall of all 16 receivers in this piece, and he is listed Questionable. He still scores 18.4 per game with 12.5 over his last three. Nico Collins is the next biggest faller of the veterans, down 686 (9.7%) to 6,391, with 8 per game over his last three against 15.2 for the season. He has played 5 games.

Tee Higgins is the only veteran carrying a flag: sell, with the market 70% above the experts. His value is up 568 (13.5%) at 4,762. Justin Jefferson is up 704 (9.6%) to 8,016 after 5 games, scoring 14.4 per game and 10.8 over his last three. Amon-Ra St. Brown is down 635 (6.9%) at 8,506, yet his 21.4 per game is the second best in the group.

DeVonta Smith and A.J. Brown are both listed Questionable, and so is Watson. Smith has played 4 games and Brown 3, so their per-game numbers rest on small samples. Brown has the lowest value (3,508) and the lowest PPG (6.4) of the eight.

Malik Nabers (age 23) is the buy. Our flag says so: the draft market sits 43% below the experts. His value is up 475 (7.4%) to 6,924, the biggest rise in this group, and he scores 25.2 over his last three against 17.2 for the season. That is the widest recent gain of the eight.

Jaxon Smith-Njigba is the price of admission at 10,068, 28 per game, the highest PPG of all 16 receivers. His value barely moved (-51). Parker Washington (age 24) is up 240 (5.0%) at 5,003 and carries a sell flag, the market 38% above the experts. He works as a swap piece in the trades below, but he is not a bargain.

Tetairoa McMillan is the only young receiver down more than 100, off 436 (6.9%) to 5,892. He scores 11.5 over his last three against 15.6 on the season.

Emeka Egbuka carries a buy flag, the market 54% below the experts, but he is listed Questionable. Carnell Tate, the youngest of the 16 at 21, is also Questionable and up 233 (5.9%). Luther Burden III is flat (+22) and Matthew Golden is up 256 (6.6%) to 4,144.

Justin Jefferson for Parker Washington + Carnell Tate8,0168,144-1.6%
Tee Higgins for Parker Washington4,7625,003-4.8%

These use 1QB values and our trade rule: the best piece counts 100%, the second 75%. Fair means within 5%. On superflex values, Christian Watson for Parker Washington comes out +3.2%.

The tightest swap is Justin Jefferson for Parker Washington + Carnell Tate: 8,016 against 8,144, a -1.6% gap. You get two younger receivers for one 27-year-old. The cost is a roster spot and production now. Justin Jefferson scores 14.4 per game, Parker Washington 15.3, Carnell Tate 11. Contenders feel that. Rebuilders should take it.

How to use this

  1. List every receiver on your roster who is 27 or older and look up his value on his player page.
  2. A sell flag or a price that rose this week is the best time to move a veteran. A price that fell means you are selling low.
  3. Run the swap in the trade analyzer before you message anyone.
  4. Contenders: keep the veteran if he starts for you. Rebuilders: sell now.
  5. Check the full board on the dynasty wide receiver rankings and the buy-low and sell-high list.
