Three backs sit alone at the top, and the next tier starts 1,674 points lower. Values as of Nov 1, 2026.
This is the running back market in one place: the top 12 by 1QB value, how they moved since Oct 25, and four trades that land within 5%. Values run on a 0-10,000 scale. "Flag" is the gap between experts and the draft market. A buy flag means the market sits at least 35% below the experts. A sell flag means at least 35% above. FFC had no dynasty data today, so the market side is Sleeper only.

Tier one: the three you pay full price for
Jahmyr Gibbs (9,455), Bijan Robinson (9,226) and Kenneth Walker III (8,281) are the only backs above 8,000. The biggest gap in the top 12 comes right after them: 1,674 points from Kenneth Walker III down to James Cook III. Gibbs scores 28.5 per game and 24.2 over his last three, the best of the 12 on both counts. His value is +44 since Oct 25.
Kenneth Walker III is the only one of the three up more than 100 (+135). Bijan Robinson is flat (+5), and his box score has slipped: 20.8 per game on the season, 13.4 over his last three. That is the widest drop from season pace to recent pace among the 12. His value has barely moved.
Tier two: five thousand to eight thousand
Six backs live here, and the market is split on them. James Cook III (6,607, age 27) is down 303 with no flag. Ashton Jeanty and Jonathan Taylor carry buy flags. Jonathan Taylor fell 763 to 6,083, the biggest drop in the tier, and still scores 19.6 per game. Ashton Jeanty (age 22) is down 194 to 6,265.
Christian McCaffrey, Kyren Williams and Javonte Williams carry sell flags. Christian McCaffrey is the oldest of the 12 at 30, listed Questionable, and up 160 to 5,769. A sell flag plus a rising price is a window. Kyren Williams is down 248 at 5,600. Javonte Williams is up 52 to 5,151.
Tier three: under five thousand
Chase Brown is the riser of the group: +1,360 (+38.3%) to 4,913, the biggest jump of any top-24 back and the only top-12 back up more than 1,000. He also carries a sell flag, and his 12.5 per game is the second-lowest of the 12. A price that jumps while the scoring does not is a sell-high setup.
Jeremiyah Love is the opposite. At age 21, the youngest of the 12, he fell 2,078 (-33.8%) to 4,068, the biggest drop of any top-24 back and the only top-12 back down more than 1,000. He carries a buy flag. He has played 5 games at 10.2 per game. Breece Hall also carries a buy flag, but he is Questionable and has played only 3 games, the fewest of the 12. Treat his 14.2 per game as a small sample.

| De'Von Achane (MIA) | 25 | 4,051 | 3,678 | -373 (-9.2%) | — |
All six risers carry sell flags. Jonah Coleman has the biggest percentage jump, 211.6% to 1,047, on 3 games played. Josh Jacobs has played only 2, so his 21.7 per game is thin. Rhamondre Stevenson is up 103.8% to 1,565.

Four fair RB swaps
Each trade sits inside the 5% range on the trade calculator rule: the best piece counts 100%, the second 75%. All use 1QB values.
| Trade | You send | You get | Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kenneth Walker III for Javonte Williams + 2027 Early 1st | 8,281 | 8,285 | +0.0% |
| Kyren Williams for Bucky Irving + Jaylen Warren | 5,600 | 5,604 | -0.1% |
| James Cook III for Chase Brown + D'Andre Swift | 6,607 | 6,596 | +0.2% |
| Breece Hall for Jeremiyah Love + 2028 2nd | 4,204 | 4,200 | +0.1% |
The tightest is the first: 8,281 against 8,285, a 0.0% gap. Kenneth Walker III turns into a starter plus a pick. The 2027 Early 1st is worth 4,178, less than Javonte Williams at 5,151, so the pick is the second piece. The Kyren Williams deal swaps one 26-year-old for two backs who moved in opposite directions: Bucky Irving is up 718, Jaylen Warren is down 1,060. The Breece Hall deal is a buy-low on Jeremiyah Love. On superflex values it is 3,147 against 3,363, a -6.4% gap, outside 5%.
